Strong Roots
Merkon’s roots are extending to late 80s, when founder of the company started to work for a concrete products machinery producer, after he got his degree in engineering. After working in production for a while, his employers needed him to deliver his services more than getting his hands on a piece. A short time later, a company was established to respond better the requirements of growing markets.
Stepping Up
In 1994, the very first «monoblock mold» was produced, which can be considered as the first of many contributions to the industry made by Merkon family. This development pioneered the era, but was just a beginning of many others dreams, which followed by designing the first «full automatic functioning interlock machine». These improvements led to a dense business activity. As products are spread to various geographies, experience on different demands has acknowledged.

First R&D Award
With the passion of «delivering more», Merkon included concrete block and pipe molds, machines, batching plants and handling systems to its products’ range. Aside of getting positive feedbacks from the industry, in 2008 Merkon got an award from R&D institution, for delivering the first Servo driven, top class energy saving block making machine. In the following 10 years Merkon has earned 5 different awards.
